Summer fun for all ages in Eastcombe, near Stroud, Glos.

There’ll be fun for all the family as you join in the hunt for gnomes at Eastcombe’s favourite event of the season. Buy your map and finish the trail to collect a prize gnome!

The trail starts at Eastcombe Primary School, GL6 7EA (more info here) and will go ahead rain or shine.

Free entry. Gnome Trail maps are £3 each for one child and £2 each for each additional child per family (which includes the cost of a prize gnome at the end). Skip the queue and reserve your maps now: map orders

Games and Activities

This year’s Gnome Hunt will feature an ice cream stop along the trail, then tea and homemade cakes at the village hall, plus tombola, raffle, stalls and more. There might even be a couple of life-sized gnomes wandering about the village during the hunt!

Come and have a go at the lucky dip or win big in our cash prize draw, or test your skill at one of our carnival games. There’s also face painting and toddler activities.

Explore a Hidden Gem of the Cotswolds

Eastcombe is a lovely hilltop village in the parish of Bisley-with-Lypiatt near Stroud, Gloucestershire, and is located in the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Thanks to our vibrant community, we're lucky enough to still have a church, primary school, shop, post office and pub.

The Gnome Hunt trail will lead you through some of the village's prettiest winding lanes, so you will also get an up-close look at our beautiful cottages and gardens as you search for gnomes.
